SVP DC-1231/REVIEW November 14, 2008 Reviewer: Peter Marks from Greenbrae, CA United States   I bought this camera as an underwater camera and used it while snorkeling in Bora Bora.  The camera worked great and the pictures were very clear.  I could snap as many pictures as I wanted, as I had a 2GB SD card.  I would delete the pictures I didn't want later.  The waterproof housing in which the camera is placed worked great and no water leaked into it.  There is a wrist strap for the housing that may be tightened on ones wrist while using the arms for swimming.  The wrist strap stays on the wrist, and the housing with the camera inside floats if taken off the wrist.  This camera takes great pictures outside of the water also, and is has a lot of great features for such a small size digital camera.  It is thin and has a small carrying case that may be attached to a belt.  The fact that the camera uses two AAA batteries is convenient.  I rate this camera as the best camera for the money for taking both land pictures and underwater pictures.
