SPV 1231-VERY POOR CAMERA July 1, 2010 Reviewer: Peter Marks from Greenbrae, CA United States   This camera is a very poor camera.  The flash doesn't work even after brand new or recently recharged batteries are inststalled.  I suggest not buying this camera because you will be very disappointed.  I have had the camera for almost two years and it is now time to throw it away.  I have no idea as to whether any other SVP cameras are any good but as for me, I will never buy an SVP camera.  It is a cheap imitation of a camera that is supposed to work as stated but doesn't.  Don't waste your time looking at SVP cameras and rather buy one of the new Nikon digital cameras that are made to last and although they cost more than an SVP camera it is better not to waste money on an SVP camera that won't last and pay more money for a camera that will last.
